How to configure Windows XP for myDurango.net dialup
Step 1: Click the Start button and select Control
Panel.
Step 2: A window called Control Panel will open. Select
Network and Internet Connections from the window.
Step 3: A list of tasks will appear. Select Set Up or
Change Your Internet Connection.
Step 4: This will open a window called Internet
Properties with the Connections tab activated. Click on the button that says Setup....
Step 5: This starts the New Connection Wizard. Click
the Next button.
Step 6: Make sure Connect to the Internet is selected,
then click on the Next button.
Step 7: Click on Set up my connection manually then
click the Next button.
Step 8: Make sure Connect using a dialup modem is
selected, then click on the Next button.
Step 9: For ISP name, type in myDurango.net and click
Next.
Step 10: For Phone number, type in the
dialup access number 375-1258, then click Next.
Step 11: When you signed up, you chose your username
and password.
Step 12: Make sure the check box Add a shortcut to this
connection to my desktop is checked and then click Finish.
Step 13: That's it. You should now have an icon on your
desktop that says myDurango.net. To connect, double-click on it.
Step 14: This brings up the Connect myDurango.net window. Click on
the button that says Dial to connect to the Internet.
Congratulations! Assuming you typed in your username@myDurango.net,
password and phone number correctly, you should now be connected to the Internet.
